I admit it. I'm craft challenged. My entries in this category will most likely be few and far between. However, I will endeavor to create creative/beautiful items out of my garden abundance. (If you don't succeed, try try again.)
Gourd Crafting

This is the first, I hope, of many projects using dried, cured gourds from the garden. I used a Cucuzzi Gourd ‘Lagenaria siceraria’ to make a sort of autumn cornucopia. I initially I chose to grow Cucuzzi gourds because they are edible when young and more disease resistant than squash. I let some grow large so I could experiment with gourd curing and crafting.

Lavender Wands

These lavender wands are great to stash in drawers to keep things smelling fresh or to include along with a gift to friend.
